Editorial Policy

On order of publications in periodicals of online platform inscience.uz

 

Editorial Board and editorship of online platform of publishing materials inscience.uz (hereinafter – the Platform) adhering to the norms of legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as provisions of the principles of publication ethics accepted by the international community that are reflected, in particular, in recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), the Code of Ethics of scientific publications, and take into account valuable experience of leading reputable international journals and publishers.

Requirements for the articles

The manuscript is submitted through the Platform in electronic form and should contain:

in the range 0.25 – 4.25 author's sheet (10 - 170 thousand printable characters, including spaces between words and punctuation marks). At the same time, the abstract, keywords and list of used literature are not included in the article.  

The manuscript of the article should include:

title of the article in Uzbek, Russian and English;

initials and surname of the author(s) in Uzbek, Russian and English in nominative case;

information about the author (academic degree, academic title, place of work, position, type of occupation in Uzbek, Russian and English);

e-mail of the author(s);

abstract in Uzbek, Russian and English consisting of 150-250 words. The text of the abstract should reflect main content of the article (subject, purpose, methodology and conclusions based on the research results, as well as information about the prospects for their use), but do not repeat information from the title of the article. Its text includes a list of used research methods and follows the logic of describing the results in the article;

keywords in Uzbek, Russian and English, consisting of 5-10 words and (or) collocations, sufficient to give a capacious presentation of research topic and achieved results;  

article should be in IMRAD format (IMRAD is - Introduction - Materials and Methods - Results - Discussion – Conclusions)

list of used literature.  Numbers of references to bibliographic sources are given in the text of the article in square brackets in Arabic numerals, the sequence of them corresponds to the order of their mentioning in the text. In case of literal citation of information from the source, the quotation is enclosed in quotation marks, and the reference number is given in square brackets according to the list of used literature, as well as the page number (separated by commas) on which this quotation is contained in the source. Self-citation should not exceed 20%.

Peer review

Each manuscript submitted for publication through the Platform to the Editorial Board undergoes a technical examination procedure for compliance with the requirements for Manuscripts, then it is submitted for review for the purpose of its expert assessment.

The results of technical examination of the article are reported to the author by e-mail within 3 working days from the date of receipt of the article.

The author of the Manuscript is informed about the results of review and notified by e-mail within 7 working days from the moment the article is sent for review.

Indexing

Publications in journals of the Platforms are included in the systems of calculating citation indices of authors and journals. "Citation Index" is a numerical indicator that characterizes the importance of this article and is calculated on the basis of subsequent publications referring to this work.

The Russian Science Citation Index is a bibliographic and abstract index, implemented in the form of a database, accumulating information on publications of Russian scientists in Russian and foreign scientific publications. The RSCI project has been developed since 2005 by the Scientific Electronic Library (eLibrary.ru). By 2012, the eLIBRARY platform posted more than 2400 Russian magazines.

Google Scholar is a freely accessible search engine that indexes full text of scientific publications in all formats and disciplines. Google Scholar Index includes most of the peer-reviewed online journals in Europe and America from the largest scientific publishers.

Free access policy

The Platform provides open access to its content for the user, based on the principle that free open access to research results contributes to global knowledge sharing. At the same time the user of content is responsible for compliance with copyright laws and other related rights.

Borrowing and plagiarism

Editorship may verify the material through the system "Anti-plagiarism" in considering the article. The editors act in accordance with the rules of COPE in case of numerous borrowings.
