Abstract

This article analyzes the linguopragmatic features of three main genres of television: informational, analytical, and journalistic programs. Information genres are evaluated as factors shaping the agenda of public discussion, analytical genres as platforms for interpreting events and providing context, and journalistic genres as means of persuasion and emotional impact. Using examples, the article highlights the influence of television language on public opinion through framing, agenda-setting, and persuasive speech strategies. The research findings conclude that television not only reflects events but also actively shapes public consciousness.
