Мазкур мақолада телевидениенинг уч асосий жанри – ахборот, таҳлилий ва публицистик кўрсатувларнинг лингвопрагматик хусусиятлари таҳлил қилинган. Шунингдек, ахборот жанрлари жамоатчилик муҳокамаси кун тартибини шакллантирувчи омил сифатида, таҳлилий жанрлар воқеаларга изоҳ берувчи ва контекст яратиб берувчи майдон сифатида, публицистик жанрлар эса ишонтириш ва эмоционал таъсир воситаси сифатида баҳоланган. Мисоллар асосида телевидение тилининг framing, agenda-setting ва persuasiv нутқ стратегиялари орқали жамоатчилик фикрига таъсири ёритилган. Тадқиқот хулосаларига кўра, телевидение нафақат воқеаларни акс эттиради, балки оммавий онгни фаол шакллантиради.
