Abstract

The purpose of this article is to analyze pragmatically the display of family roles in the Russian language based on the “husband-wife” dichotomy, analyzed in a historical context. We analyze linguistic expressions associated with the Russian terms “husband” and “wife” and consider their evolution throughout history to achieve this goal.
