Abstract

International integration requires a revision of the procedure and content of the teaching and evaluation process. This thesis reveals the current state of assessment of students' native language skills, the demand for assessment, and the relevance of developing an assessment criterion in the cross-section of classes. In the study, the current evaluation systems were analyzed from the point of view of evaluating students' oral speech. Also, in order to determine the necessity of assessment of students' ability to speak in their native language, a survey was conducted with the participation of native language and literature teachers, and the results were analyzed. Based on the analysis of the results, it was determined that it is necessary to develop a criterion for evaluating the ability to speak the mother tongue in the cross-section of classes.
