This article examines the role and significance of ironic expressions as a didactic tool in the teaching process. It explores how irony promotes critical thinking, captures students’ attention, and makes topics more memorable, while also analyzing the stylistic devices that convey ironic effects in literary texts. The article further highlights how ironic and humorous expressions enrich the content of literary works and influence the reader’s perception. These stylistic tools ultimately enhance critical thinking and contribute to making the text more memorable.
