Abstract

This article examines the challenges of representing gender in literary translation. Key issues include linguistic differences in gender systems, the complexity of maintaining gender neutrality, the necessity of adapting to cultural contexts, and the impact of the translator's personal perspectives on the translation process. The paper analyzes advanced approaches and methods for overcoming gender-related translation issues and discusses the potential of literary translation in eliminating gender stereotypes.
