Abstract

This article presents the main content, stages and principles of the Montessori methodology. The Montessori system is a pedagogical approach aimed at the child's independent learning and development of his abilities, which is based on the principles of supporting an individual approach, freedom and initiative. The article analyzes the stages of development of the Montessori methodology, its advantages and possibilities of application in practice.
