Abstract

This article discusses the formation of love elegies in Roman literature and the significance of Ovid’s creative contribution. Ovid’s elegies express the joys and sorrows of love and mythical romance. His works depict the lives and emotional struggles of mythological characters through a realistic and personal approach. The scholarly analysis also covers the contribution of Metamorphoses to the development of world literature, highlighting its profound spiritual, moral, and philosophical aspects.
