Abstract

As we know, Jadid literature marked a significant turning point in the development of Uzbek literature, not only in terms of content but also in form and genre. The works of this period's authors served as an ideological, stylistic, and genre-based foundation for Uzbek literature's transition into a new era. In this article, we have examined how the formation and development of the novel genre in the process of literary evolution is one of the issues deserving special attention.
