This article examines the theoretical and practical aspects of enhancing the English language teaching process in preschool educational institutions using the Inquiry Based Learning (IBL) method. The experience of implementing this method in the Chinese preschool education system is analyzed, and the possibilities of adapting it to the Uzbek context are explored. The study demonstrates the effectiveness of the IBL method in developing children's skills in independent research, questioning, experimentation, and communication. Additionally, the article presents the necessary pedagogical conditions, resources, and methodological recommendations for implementing this method.
