Mazkur maqolada ingliz tili darslarida debat metodini konstruktivistik yondashuv nuqtai nazaridan qo‘llash orqali nofilologik yo‘nalishlarda tahsil olayotgan talabalarning erkin muloqotga kirishish ko‘nikmalarini rivojlantirish masalasi tahlil qilinadi. Konstruktivistik yondashuv til o‘rganishni faqat bilim olish emas, balki ijtimoiy va kognitiv faoliyat sifatida baholaydi. Ushbu maqolada J. Piaget, L. Vygotsky, J. Bruner kabi olimlarning konstruktivistik nazariyalari asosida debat metodining afzalliklari va qo‘llash yo‘llari ko‘rib chiqiladi.
