Abstract

One of the important factors in the increase in the incidence of uterine fibroids in women in the late reproductive and premenopausal periods is the vegetative-hormonal restructuring, which enhances the influence of the sympathetic-adrenal system and the associated activation of lipolytic activity with impaired cholesterol metabolism. Hyperlipidemia is an important link in the pathogenesis and clinical course of uterine fibroids.
