Abstract

Dysbacteriosis is one of the most common syndromes faced by doctors of various profiles. This condition may be the result of a number of diseases or toxic influences. The article describes the principles and tactics of treating dysbacteriosis in children using complex probiotic preparation Probiocare-AWL. A clinical study of the preparation was carried out in children with a respiratory infection who received antibiotic treatment against which antibiotic-associated diarrhea developed. A good result was obtained in 82% of children, whose stools returned to normal on the 4rd-5th day of administration. Knowledge of the benefits and mechanisms of action allows the correct use of this preparation for the prevention and treatment of intestinal infections in children.
