Abstract

This article focuses on the morphometric evaluation of meniscus thickness and volume in patients with post-traumatic gonarthrosis. The study is based on Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) findings and pathomorphological data. Statistical analysis was performed to determine the correlation between morphometric parameters of the meniscus and clinical stages of gonarthrosis. The results indicate that reduction in meniscus thickness and volume is a significant diagnostic and prognostic marker. These findings highlight the clinical importance of morphometric assessment in planning pathogenetically substantiated therapeutic strategies.
