This article examines the clinical and morphological features of cardiovascular lesions in patients with COVID-19. Pathological changes identified during postmortem examination and clinical observation of infected patients are analyzed. Particular attention is paid to mechanisms of damage to the myocardium, vascular walls, and endothelium, as well as to the development of inflammation and thrombosis. The findings underscore the importance of a comprehensive approach to diagnosing and treating cardiovascular complications in patients with COVID-19, which can help reduce mortality and improve prognosis.
