On the order of publications in periodicals of the online platform inscience.uz

 

The editorial board and the editorial board of the scientific and practical journal "Preventive Medicine and Health" (hereinafter referred to as the Journal), adhering to the norms of the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as the principles of publication ethics adopted by the international community, reflected, in particular, in the recommendations of the Committee on the Ethics of Scientific Publications (Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), the Code of Ethics for Scientific Publications, and also take into account the valuable experience of leading reputable international journals and publishers.

Requirements for Articles

The manuscript is submitted to the journal through the Platform in electronic form and must contain:

within 0.25 - 4.25 aut. l. (10 - 170 thousand printed characters, including spaces between words and punctuation marks). At the same time, the abstract, keywords and the list of cited sources are not included in the scope of the article.

Manuscript should include:

title of the article in Uzbek, Russian and English;

initials and surname of the author (authors) in Uzbek, Russian and English in the nominative case;

information about the author (academic degree, academic title, place of work, position, type and type of occupation in Uzbek, Russian and English);

email of the author(s);

abstract in Uzbek, Russian and English, 150-250 words. The text of the abstract should reflect the main content of the article (subject, purpose, methodology and conclusions based on the results of the study, as well as information about the prospects for their use), but not repeat the information from the title of the article. Its text includes a listing of the research methods used and follows the logic of the description of the results in the article;

Key words in Uzbek, Russian and English, consisting of 5-10 words and (or) set phrases, sufficient to give a clear idea of ​​the research topic and the results achieved;

article text in IMRAD format ;

list of used sources. According to the text of the article, in square brackets in Arabic numerals are given the numbers of references to bibliographic sources, the sequence of which corresponds to the order in which they are mentioned in the text. In the case of verbatim citation of information from the source, the quotation is enclosed in quotation marks, and in square brackets is given not only the reference number according to the list of cited sources, but also the page number (separated by commas) on which this quotation is contained in the source. Self-quoting should not exceed 20%.

Review

Each manuscript submitted for publication in a journal through the Platform to the Editorial Board undergoes a technical examination procedure for compliance with the requirements for Manuscripts, after which it is submitted for review for the purpose of its peer review.

The results of the technical examination of the article are communicated to the author by e-mail within 3 working days from the date of receipt of the article.

The author of the Manuscript is notified of the results of the review by e-mail within 7 working days from the date of sending the article for review.

Indexing

Publications in the journal Platforms are included in the calculation systems of citation indices of authors and journals. "Citation Index" is a numerical indicator that characterizes the significance of this article and is calculated on the basis of subsequent publications that refer to this work.

Logs indexed on systems:

in Library is a bibliographic and abstract index implemented as a database that accumulates information about publications of scientists in national and foreign scientific journals. The in Library project has been developed since 2020 by the in Science company (inscience.uz). More than 12,400 scientific papers will be hosted on the in Library platform by 2022.

Google Scholar is a freely available search engine that indexes the full text of scientific publications in all formats and disciplines. The Google Academy Index includes most of the peer-reviewed online journals in Europe and America from the largest scientific publishers.

Free Access Policy

The journal provides open access to its content for the user, based on the principle: free open access to research results, contributes to an increase in the global exchange of knowledge. At the same time, the user of the content is responsible for compliance with the laws on copyright and other related rights.

Borrowing and plagiarism

When reviewing an article, the editors can check the material using the Anti-Plagiarism system. In case of detection of numerous borrowings, the editors act in accordance with the COPE rules.
