Abstract

The article is devoted to the study and analysis of the issues associated with the youth labor market. It has been established that at a certain stage of the country's development, youth unemployment is the main indicator of the degree of its adaptation to the labor market. The author examines and analyzes the features and challenges in the world labor market, as well as the labor market of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Based on a comparative analysis, countries are sorted by employment and unemployment levels. Reasons behind the lower demand for youth specialists in the labor market, and the possibilities of successful job search in accordance with the acquired qualifications are also examined.
