Abstract

This article presents analysis and research about the development of students’ speech competencies in mother tongue classes and the use of pedagogical technologies in this process. The fact that mother tongue lessons are interesting and effective is explained based on the description and examples of some methods used in the development of students’ written literacy and linguistic competencies. The article can be used by native language teachers, graduate students, researchers, and all interested people.
