Abstract

Farming is a method of growing crops to obtain plant products, mainly used for the cultivation of cultivated plants and their subsequent use in economic activities. Since ancient times, people have faced various difficulties in agriculture and the need to adapt to climate change, choosing varieties for planting that have been proven over the years, trying to adapt to environmental conditions. Over the centuries, our ancestors developed agricultural techniques, creating agricultural oases and gaining invaluable experience. Population growth and increased demand for food stimulated the development of fertile lands. In this article, the author highlights the study of the plant world, which played an important role in the economy of ancient civilizations.
