Abstract

This scientific article examines the theoretical foundations of teaching the operation of comparison in the context of mathematics lessons in primary school. Mastering the comparison technique plays a key role in the formation and development of mental actions in younger schoolchildren, which, in turn, contributes to the deepening of logical thinking. The article analyzes methodological approaches to teaching comparison and their impact on the cognitive development of students. The results of the study highlight the importance of comparison skills for the subsequent development of logical thinking in both primary and secondary school.
