Abstract

Language portfolios play an important role in students' language learning in educational and scientific activities. This approach helps students to independently and individually learn by providing them with the opportunity to document their achievements, analyze their results, and develop metacognitive skills. The didactic features of language portfolios allow for the integration of the assessment process with education, providing a system of continuous and formative assessment. This article analyzes the role of language portfolios in increasing students' linguistic competence, their motivation, and their involvement in the learning process.
