Abstract

This article analyzes the role of teachers' pedagogical potential in the modern education system, its components, and ways of development. The teacher's pedagogical potential includes not only professional knowledge and skills but also methodological expertise, communicative competencies, psychological-pedagogical training, innovative openness, and digital literacy. The author highlights key directions for developing this potential such as professional development, practical experience exchange, scientific research activities, the use of digital technologies, and self-assessment. The article substantiates the importance of enhancing teachers' pedagogical potential to improve education quality and provides practical recommendations.
