Pedagogical practice is an essential stage that integrates theory and practice within the higher education system and contributes to the development of students’ pedagogical skills, creativity, communicative and reflective competencies. This article examines the role and significance of pedagogical practice in the formation and development of professional competencies of future primary education teachers, as well as issues of effective organization of practice, strengthening cooperation between the teacher and the trainee, and improving professional training through the implementation of modern pedagogical technologies.
