В данной статье анализируются жизнь, научное наследие и методология арабского лингвиста X века Ахмада ибн Фариса ибн Закарии (ум. 1004 г.). Его известные труды, такие как "Макаис аль-луга" (Книга о корнях языка), "Ас-Саахиби фи фикх аль-луга ва сунан аль-Араб фи каламиха" (О законах языка и стилях речи арабов) и "Китаб аль-Муджмал фи аль-Луга" (Общий свод по языку), освещают лексикологию арабского языка, корни слов, изменения значений и методологию составления словарей. В статье рассматриваются методологический подход Ибн Фариса, его научные нововведения в лингвистике и его роль в развитии арабской филологии.
