This article analyzes the role of phraseological units (idioms) in the semantic and linguocultural aspects of the analysis of literary texts. A lexical and linguistic analysis of phraseological units with a numerical component is carried out using the example of Gafur Gulam’s story “A naughty boy”. The article demonstrates how idioms contribute to the expressiveness of a literary text and offers an in-depth understanding of the contribution of idioms to literary analysis.
