The purpose of this article is to analyze the features of the translation of realities in a literary text, as well as to study the most common methods of translating realities, using the example of the novels by A. Chulpan “Day and Night” and Aibek “Navoi”. During the study, it was found that the realities in works of art carry a unique national flavor, requiring special attention from the translator. When analyzing the translation of these works into French and Russian, such methods of conveying realities as transcription, transliteration, tracing, and descriptive translation were identified.
