Abstract

This article analyzes the use and dynamics of idioms in Internet networks, focusing on their types and functions. Internet language not only adapts existing idioms but also creates new ones. Internet communication—characterized by speed, concision, and emotional expressiveness—has given rise to several distinct types of idioms.
