Abstract

Domestic violence is one of the most acute and complex social problems of modern society. This phenomenon, sometimes hidden from the public eye, penetrates into the very fabric of our existence, affecting families of various social, cultural and economic strata. Victims of domestic violence are most often women and children who are in a dependent, vulnerable position.

The need to protect victims of domestic violence is due not only to moral and ethical considerations, but also to the desire of the State to ensure the safety and well-being of its citizens. The protection of human rights and freedoms, the protection of his physical and psychological integrity are among the main functions of the State.

The purpose of this study is to study and analyze the problem of domestic violence, as well as to consider measures of legal protection of victims, in particular, the use of a protective order. Within the framework of the study, the following tasks are set: to study the historical context of the appearance of a protective order, to conduct a comparative legal analysis of the legislation of various countries, as well as to determine the effectiveness of the application of a protective order in the conditions of Uzbekistan.

The relevance of the study is due to the growing attention to the problem of domestic violence at the international level, as well as the need to develop comprehensive measures to prevent and counteract it. In the context of globalization and integration, the problem of domestic violence requires joint efforts and coordinated actions at all levels - from local communities to international organizations.
